Introduction
From 30 September to 3 October 1998, the 15th Electric Vehicle Symposium, EVS-15, took place in Brussels, Belgium. The TRANSEUROPEAN 1998 linked this event with the 4th "Monte Carlo International Electric Vehicles Rendez-vous" organised in Monte Carlo, with a special stay in Mendrisio for the occasion of the 5th ExpoVEL.
The aim of the event is to highlight the performance potential of electric and hybrid vehicles of today.
